In S2 she was a douchebag jock stereotype.

The problem is when a character or characters act terrible and the episode clearly portray them as the good guys that are absolutely right.  
I think that’s one of the reasons why MMDW is so hated. No one noticed that and assumed people will agree with the plan, which obviously didn’t happen. In some way they got off scott free and it’s one of the things that piss people off the most.  
Twilight in “Rainbow Falls” was a mild case of this. Many people thought she wasn’t right to guilt trip Dash into staying in the team that held her back and wasn’t taking it all seriously …and she was generally being obnoxious with those “I’m superior” kind of faces.

I liked both MMDW and MTBPW, and had no problem with Rainbow Dash or anyone else.
 
If everyone acted like goody goody two shoes all the time there would be no conflicts therefore it would be FUCKING BORING.

Mmdw, everyone was ooc in my opinion and the moral was completely fucked. They were all portrayed pretty badly, but Dash is the one who got the majority of the heat. That episode as a whole just made me feel really bad for her and it should have never been aired.

I agree about MMDW but I also think that not just Dash but everyone was portrayed equally bad with her having the most screentime. Better to forget about it for good. She also had good moments in S2.

I didn’t say that that was how I felt, just that I recall how the a majority of the fandom felt back then.  
All I was really trying to say was that I didn’t get enough from her in Season 3 to justify such a massive change in views that everyone else noticed.

Ok, everyone. Let me put this to rest by saying that I DO find Rainbow Dash to be likable, I just don’t feel that she’s THAT likable. I will make a promise here to not make an asshole of myself from here-on-out because of my views.

I didn’t hate her in Season 2. I just felt pained that they didn’t show a better side of her.
 
I’m not going to pretend that she’s flawless, but she’s not all ego.
