“Anyways, this is probably a concept a lot of you are familiar with assuming that a lot of you (my watchers) like Sparity. This has been done many times before where Spike lives for a long time after Rarity has passed. Now, I’m not sure if Claire and T would outlive everyone like Spike would being half dragon and all or even if they would have a shorter life since they’re really “not supposed to be genetically possible” (even though this is a fictional world we’re talking about), so I wanted to ask you guys what you think about that. Would they live for a long time? If they did, how long?”
- kilala97
Thank you, Kilala.
Tell that to the person that wrote a Sparity fanfic, where both of them were anthros (and thus aged the same rate).
Poppycock, people do it all the time.
I don’t see how you could. It’s canon that they SLEEP for a hundred years at a time when they get bigger.
You can’t just sweep something under the rug because you don’t want to think about it.

Ah, I try to avoid the “dragons outlive all ponies” issue.
If I remember correctly, that is the flower that was his wife’s Cutie Mark. I believe the flower was supposed to be a potent sleeping agent (reflecting the ponies ability to calm others down and remeain serene). There is a story behind that, of course, and I do believe that she is dead at the time of this picture.

The green dragon/pony.
Who is Turquoise?
I do have a thing for Trixie, but I leave things like “Twixie” alone…or don’t really care much for them, sometimes I’ll look at them and be like “Heh, that’s cute”.
You can use the various preset filters. Then again anons can’t vote. As the particular anon pertaining to this image and others from this artist, well, it appears that he cries himself to sleep every night and wakes up in a cold sweat after pissing himself over the terror that is sparity, so I’d pay no attention to him.
I take it you can’t use filters if you’re not signed in?
People like to complain, I bet almost the half of the people here are not using the filters, the other half had filters but only in Fluffy Grimdark, Grotesque and Merch SexE.
But then what would we complain about?

Canon x OC is generally disliked if it’s seen as the OC “topping” the canon.
Otherwise it’s just a few hardcore jackasses that get their panties in a twist over OCs so fierce their balls explode. It’s a wonder they don’t just simply hide the tag.
Doesn’t stop me from posting commissions of me and Trixie. :D
Well, Canon x OC is a little hated here.
Male, and he’s just a pegasus.
He’s tanned colored, light blue hair, and wears red glasses. And…that’s it for design.
He has a crush on Trixie.
Well, if people stop doing this things…

That was the point. Just because Sue’s have those traits doesn’t mean that every character with those traits is a Sue. To say that is idiotic.
-Lumino
It’s because it became a stereotype, like the Blonde and blue eyes nazis.
Those are traits common to a Sue, that doesn’t mean that everything with that trait is a Sue.
The argument you have presented is the logical equivalent of: “Most Nazi’s had blonde hair and blue eyes, therefore anyone with blonde hair and blue eyes is a Nazi.”
Once again, sorry for invoking Godwin’s Law, but it was relevant to the discussion.
-Lumino
Well, in Tv Tropes, one principal feature of a Mary Sue is if “She has some sort of especially close relationship to the author’s favorite canon character — their love interest, illegitimate child, never-before-mentioned sister, etc.”
