OK. The intent behind it though, what’s that? I thought “the number” could literally be any number yet it - whatever that number is - was and is only meant to point to something or someone in particular such as the emperor of Rome at the time. I have no superstitious fears about the number itself. It’s just that the can, is there any good point to it at all?
Some manuscripts, including the oldest surviving copy of Revelations, lists the number of the beast as 616, not 666.
Besides gematria is usually additive, so waw-waw-waw would be 18. The Monster logo doesn’t show an initial slanted stroke like waw does either.
