/Comic was drawn back when no one thought Twilight would become an Alicorn. When everyone agreed that it would terrible writing to shoe horn her in as an Alicorn and worse if they kept everything the same and did it to sell toys.
/Comic is currently being critiqued by people who know all that is true but are bashing anyone who says so because they know drama can not defeat corporate. So they gave up.
