Low battery =/= no power  
There was always enough to go for an extra whole hour of gamming at low battery if you turned off the vibration.  
It would disconnect even though their was plenty of power.

Sounds like an xbox 360 controller, I had all the same problems.  
You could always plug in the charging cable and use it for bondage.

1: They barely last at all, the port for the wireless controller charger plug-in cable breaks for absolutely no reason… I can go on but lazy.  
2: For me and everyone I know, every now and then the controller will randomly disconenct and reconnecting immediately, but enough seconds pass to be a major problem.  
3: Normally occurs when going between consoles.  
4: Controller falls off table or shifts position in a bag, button is pressed, turns on console mysteriously - that, or ghosts.  
5: With your hands support more weight, they are less dedicated to swift reaction times and will slowly but surely wear you down faster in the long run. Plus, going between a light wired and heavy wireless controller completely throws off your game.  
6: And isn’t this problem reason enough, anyways?

1: Get rechargeables. Sure they don’t last forever, but I’m going on two years now with the same four, and I can still get five hours of play out of a full charge (used to be 8-10)
 
2-5: Never had ANY of those problems. And why would “heavier” even be a problem. You’re holding something with two hands that’s a pound or two at most.
