Yeah, I honestly didn’t know that either.
And yet I tend to forget that, even if they do aknowledged that in the JJ. Abrams movies.
Had no idea to be honest.
And my first association was Tiberius Gracchus.
The name “James Tiberius Kirk” is probably one of things almost everyone does know about Star Trek, even those people who aren’t Trekkies.
Yeah, because all of us know or remember everything about Star Trek…

Yeah, I’m 99% sure that’s the intended reference, given how big Trek nerds both are.
