I agree with you guys honestly. As a fanbase we should be less critical about other shows popularity. More importantly. Why not give another show a chance to make its creators proud.
 
Hell, I love J.G. Quintel’s sense of humor. Regular Show makes me laugh to no end. Giving a little glory to some others is like being the most humble fanbase we could be. Too bad we don’t always think the way we should. But hey, its the internet. Dick jokes, porn, and bridges with trolls on both sides.

Which would be fine if this were a poll for “best fandom”, which there have been a few of in the past. And scripts were used in winning those, like you say, showing resourcefulness in the fandom. And this fandom winning in those polls is fairly justified. I mean, within a day of the premiere, Twicane had its own Tumblr, subreddit, video game mods, and several truckloads of fanart.  
Thing is, this isn’t a “best fandom” poll, it’s a “best show” poll. A show isn’t good just because its respective fandom has a bunch of script kiddies in it.

Personally, I think MLP:FiM is an excellent show, and has been slighted come awards time because of the entrenched prejudice against “little girl shows”.
 
Having said that, I think Gravity Falls and Adventure Time are better, and arguably the second season of Young Justice was too. I think it’s a bit early to put Steven Universe in that same league, but it’s got potential to get there. Given that Adventure Time is already hugely successful, and Young Justice is already canceled _(sob), I’d prefer Gravity Falls or Steven Universe to win the poll, near-meaningless though it is.
 
The sole reason MLP:FiM is winning this poll with such ridiculous numbers, though, is a handful of nor/mlp/ricks using automated scripts to vote constantly.

This agitates me so much…  
MLP is an okay show, but it is not worth that many votes. You know a huge chunk of those votes are coming from sheeple voting solely because someone famous said so or fandom obsessed people cheating the polls with voting scripts.  
It’s a real shame how biased and selfish this fandom can be.  
Especially against shows like Adventure Time, which is a wonderful show that has been nominated numerous times for their writing and even won a few of those awards. I don’t think MLP has been even nominated once. It’s just an okay show with fandom obsessed people flocking around it.

I recommend watching the “original” Clone Wars series (the one by Tartakovsky). It’s way better. I’m not a giant fan of Star Wars in general, but that series is amazing.

Amen to that. Clone Wars is one of the most frustrating cartoons I ever watched. Okay, the good moments are when it’s either about Bounty Hunters or is very dark.
 
But most of the episodes are Clones vs Droids and it is just sooooooo predictably boring. The villains act like dumb retarded Saturday Morning cartoon bad guys and the Jedis ALWAYS win over the course of 5 seasons. The animation was stiff too.
 
Theres not many Star Wars fans I know who like it other than kids (this generation) or people who liked the prequel trilogy
