I have a lot of love and respect for both Celestia and Luna.
 
But I have never been on the ‘Celestia was a tyrant bitch’ bandwagon, and hopefully this flashback sequence will diminish that attitude a bit.
 
Tragic and sad and unpleasant as her situation was, Luna / Nightmare Moon was absolutely in the wrong.
 
Plus she tried to murder her own sister.

I find most of the side-commentary moments from Twilight uninteresting visually, and a couple other repetitive or less exciting moments, so there’s actually a fair bit left out of this sequence still.  
Also feel like gifs are meant for ‘capturing the moment’ rather than a full sequence ( at least since my earlier G1 animation uploads, before I switched to shorter G1 clips)
