Detailed syntax guide

I’m a huge fan of FoE and Fallout in general, and while Littlepip does have a few Sue-ish traits, it’s intentional, and she’s more of a Mary Sue de-construction than one herself. She appears Sue-ish on the surface because it makes it all the more surprising when she fucks up royally or does something morally ambiguous or downright repugnant. When she seems self-righteous it usually means she’s about to learn a very hard lesson in wasteland ethics. It’s not like she didn’t murder a village in cold blood, or wipe out an entire civilization of Hellhounds without provacation, or cause a whole bunch of innocent people to die needlessly with stupid mistakes she makes.

Also, there’s a pretty distinct difference between being Overpowered and being a Mary Sue. Towards the end of every Fallout game your character will always be overpowered. My character in Fallout New Vegas butchers alpha deathclaws with lasers effortlessly on max difficulty, and in Fallout 2 my character can dismantle a squad of Enclave troops with nothing but her bare fists and a combat leather jacket, due to all her ridiculous perks. So if Littlepip is overpowered towards the end, it’s in keeping with the true spirit of the Fallout games.

She must be thinking or listening to Velvet (Rarity 2.0 In my mind)

I think that this pic does a good job representing what her old life would have looked like.

Kudos, I’m surprised anyone would have downed this image if they were into the FO:E book.

Some of the reasons might include her durability, her sexual activity and her goals. But again, as it was already said, much of that is in the game itself.

Don’t be silly. No serious criticizer actually uses that term anymore except as a joke poking fun at how stupid the term is. A character being a “mary sue” is one of the worst descriptions of a character there is.

But then of course, that probably means you simply weren’t serious. ^^

@guggen
I’m sorry that you have to resort to using the Sue attack, considering it is the last resort of a failed attack. People who throw around the term Mary Sue generally have little to no knowledge of what it means.

Well, Fallout itself filled with mary sue. Nothing is not sue when the game’s premise is about a normal guy/gal who ended up as a messiah of the whole country while also making major factions of said country as his/her BFFs.

He/she also bring along miniature nuclear launcher along with enormous minigun(s), yet he/she can just sprint indefinitely without passing out. While crippled, nonetheless.

Because people need to make themselves feel bigger by insulting things they don’t like, typical “bully” behaviour. It’s kind of sad really, I almost feel sorry for them, almost.
