And I don’t recall you complaining about drama and unnecessary insults in threads where it’s anti-Twilicornites throwing around “Hasdrones” and “shitty taste”. Maybe when someone in addition to WatermelonRat does so, I’ll have a bit more sympathy for your side.

Here’s a prime example of why I lost respect for most anti-Twilicornite arguments. And I’m saying this as someone who’s still skeptical about the change.

Just you wait until the Fandom Weather Service activates an EAS alert when if Twilight remains an alicorn and/or princess for the remainder of this season at the end of the premiere.

Because completing Starswirl the Bearded’s spell is the sole reason Twilight got princessified and alicornificated. If Sweetie Belle had been the one to complete it, she would’ve been the new pretty pegacorn princess instead of Twilight.

And I suppose it’s OK to call people “Hasdrones” if they say they think the change will work out? People on both sides insult the other all the time, and no one calls them out on it. Saying that you’re looking for a reason to complain is really rather mild compared to what usually gets flung around whenever alicorn drama pops up.
 
Anyway, I think it’s safe to say that the first two episodes will focus more on Twilight, as all of the two-part adventure episodes have done. To what extent they’ll do so remains to be seen. After that, I expect a return to normal with the other characters taking turns in the spotlight; if that doesn’t happen, then yes, I’ll be gravely disappointed, but based on the previews we’ve seen so far I don’t think it will.
