Oh I think I know now. I choose to keep all the frames. That might be it.

Oh you know what it might be? I stopped using the ‘optimize (for gif)’ option in Gimp awhile ago. I was concerned that it might have sacrificed some image quality in exchange for reduced size. But that might be unrelated, and after this upload, too..

Oh, I did not know that. I though animated uploads of this resolution were usually this big.
By the way, I apologize for posting a direct link to that other uploaded clip on that surprise screencap, instead of just talking about the scene. I wasn’t thinking, but it still wasn’t polite of me. :(
Nice job OP. A basic knowledge of Gif making could have made this 1MB. That, and a copy of Adobe Fireworks…
