He’s being attacked because he’s a titanic asshole, just like you. People like you two are as much a cause of drama as people like kwark and disneymaster. Obviously people harassing the staff about it are worthy of condemnation, but you direct venom at people for far less than that.
 
To give you an idea of what I’m talking about, a few months ago I was replying to someone who said the show wasn’t worth watching anymore. I said something along the lines of “I agree that this decreases Twilight’s appeal, but there should still be plenty of good stuff.” Your response was an image macro telling me to “get over it”. You’re clearly not just upset by raving loonies like kwark, you find any acknowledgement of dissatisfaction intolerable.
 
Example 2: Just yesterday, a popular fan artist spoke ill of season 3 and Equestria Girls and said he didn’t plan to watch S4. He said this anonymously on another site where he wasn’t the one to bring up the topic and didn’t even identify himself until asked, but that didn’t matter. He spoke ill of the recent developements, so the “anti drama” scum tore into him.

Do they? As far as I know, the mass media is usually either generous and nice in describing us or “lol look at the weirdos that like a little girl’s show”. I don’t think they usually go that deep down the rabbit hole that they would run into twilicorn drama.
 
In any case, Star Wars fans argue about stuff like whether or not Han shot first for DECADES and by and large spew quite a bit of venom at George Lucas very vocally and publicly (comedian fans do it on stage even), so I don’t know why you think WE’RE the black sheep of nerdom. Nerds arguing over seemingly innocuous, stupid shit most people don’t care about is kinda a long standing trope isn’t it?

Every last point you made is valid - it’s embarrassing as hell that, NINE MONTHS LATER, people are still acting like spoiled children who think the world revolves around them, all because of a CARTOON. HORSE. And then, they sit and wonder and complain about why the majority of mass media outlets paint a picture of bronies as “whiny and entitled manchildren”.

Disliking Season 3, Twilicorn, E.G., and stuff is fine, but as you point out, people who take their hatred of those things to that obsessive of a degree, (like those Jax & Kwark guys who dedicate nearly their entire DA pages to those things) or get that “militant,” don’t really help either side of the argument, and just come off as annoying.

I think he was just implying that’s one of the reasons. As I pointed out, some (note: I said “SOME!”) actually do get to obsessed with their own headcanons, and fanfics.

But I consider people who elevated bitching to an art form or an addiction of sorts a problem.  
I consider people who are completely incapable of shutting up about how everything is ruined almost nine months later a problem.  
I consider people who feel the need to form pretentious groups of “true bronies” or “ungerground bronies” to oppose canon development a problem, especially if at their best they circlejerk in discussions and upload stupid meta “art” comprised of screencaps and characters being used as mouthpieces to voice and add importance to their opinions, and at their worst they send out asinine hate mail to staff members.  
I consider people who know word by word what’s going to happen in S4 and how the writers think a problem.  
I consider people who dismiss any person who disagrees with them as “hasdrones” a problem.  
I consider people who can go from praising the comics to high heavens as “the only good franchise left” to vomiting in Andy Price’s mailbox overnight just because he (unsurprisingly) went with the canon development, and dared not to share their pathological pessimism to boot.

Can’t say that for sure, and that’s not what I was trying to imply, didn’t I say “some?” I’m just saying it’s partially the reason, so you can’t deny that it isn’t a reason, at all for the haters.

People didn’t flip their shit over them because they weren’t major changes to the plot. With something as big as what happened in mmc, there is going to be more scrutiny.
 
I agreed that people sending death threats and coming up with hasbro conspiracy theories was a problem, but you consider anyone who had a problem with the story to be a problem?

Actually, I have seen some who are butthurt over recent developments, have actually stated they are mad ‘cause it does contradicts their headcanons, and fanon material…
