If you say it so vaguely like that, people may get the wrong idea.
It would not have been hard to take a firm grasp of the plot and work it until you had something worth looking at, all that really in insert some extra content, give the plot more depth and exspand upon the points of intrest.
Twilight wouldn’t have been at the Princess’ Summit if she wasn’t a Princess, and Sunset wouldn’t have felt the need to attempt to achieve what in all honesty seems like an impossible goal.
No, Twilight had the element of magic BEFORE she was a princess. So Equestria Girls would have happened anyway had she never gotten those wings.
Actually the plot would have been prevented if twilight was better at guarding her element.Being a princess had nothing to do with it
