I see, that’s messed-up. I think Chan also got arrested recently for something, didn’t he?
A caller asked Ghost if he was familiar with that guy, and Ghost called Chris Chan out on how he’s on all these welfare handicap-entitlement programs, yet has enough mental-capacity to make all those videos, and stuff he does, and put them online showing he’s not as handicap as he claims.
Ghost is surprisingly quite knowledgeable about geeky trends online. He even said he used to be into video games, (prefering the NES & Sega Genesis) until the DreamCast went out business. He even got excited when a caller played a remix of Castlevania 2’s famous “Bloody Tears” theme.
@GargantuanBass
I’m not aware of the “attempted murder,” is that true, and not just some overblown internet rumor? I guess he is pretty bad, but I’ve seen people just as bad out there, as well is all I’m saying…
Richard Kuta actually did threaten somebody with death before, I recall though. (Though, I think it was just an empty verbal threat.) I think he also threatened to sue somebody just for making fun of him online. I think it’s safe to say both are pretty nuts.
I recall, Ghost of TCR (anyone remember him?) said Chris Chan should be on the end of a wood-chipper in one of the more recent Radio Graffiti segments.
@Beau Skunky
Yes, but there’s undeniable proof that Chris is just a terrible person.
There’s the attempted murder, the mooching off his folks, the mooching off taxpayers, the buying games he never plays, the fact he thinks he owns copyrights on his comic when it’s composed of entirely of stuff stole from other works, etc.
Sure, Kuta got lost his shit over a cartoon hedgehog, but he really pales in comparison.
@Beau Skunky
To be fair, he hasn’t caused any drama within the brony fandom (save for that one picture of him going all ab/dl with plushies, but it’s not like he put it here himself, and I’m in no place to judge someone’s fetish.)
@rogerSnow
Reminds me of back when somebody told me to delete my DA account just for liking ponies, yet I only had like 3 pony fanart pieces on it at the time, and my gallery mostly consists of Super Mario & Sonic fanart pieces.
I decided everytime somebody on DA gives me crap for liking MLP:FiM, I’d draw a new pony picture just for them. :P
@Background Pony
The fucked up thing though, is that a lot of us were and are a part of other fandoms as well. So we’ve had to put up with shit from others multiple times.
Lol people are like “fuk u bronies invading my tf2 and portal!” And I’m thinking “lol I’ve been balls deep in valve’s games since is first saw early screenshots in magazines of half life in 1998 or whatever when Gordon Freeman looked like a space Viking.” It’s not like we hail from the republic of brony or something. We were all part of these things first and had to put up with shit right beside them. Then they turn around and do the same shit.
@Zennistrad
In defense of the other fandoms, they still outnumbers us, measuring them beforehand was difficult because they are, essentially, pre-internet creations, and in general they have had to put up with far more shit than we ever did.
@ThatRandomGuy42
Pointless is a matter of perspective. Can you really not rap your head around the concept of other people caring about things you don’t?
@GargantuanBass
All fanbases have drama, and their “bad fans” if you ask me.
To be honest, I don’t think Chris Chan is as bad as Nicochi AKA “EpicKnightofJustice,” and Richard “AKnotholeResident/Sonmaniac” Kuta, who are the guys who pretty much started the whole annoying “green eyes in Sonic 4” drama, and made it trendy for Sonic fans to bash “green eyes”…
Among other strange things they did… Like Kuta actually bugging Sega of America in California to allow him to make an officially-licensed Sonic movie, with no prior film experience, and claiming it was going to somehow “unite the divided Sonic fandom,” until Sega told him to stop bothering them basically.
I must add, Kuta is now unfortunately a brony to, but I don’t know if he’s hiding under a pseudonym in this fanbase.
