I could see that. I could also see Satyrs being the product of Pony magic, while Centaurs are the product of multiple magical sources (Who knows what kind of magical effects Zap apples have during pregnancy for instance, while already having the magical effect that could lead to a satyr in the first place.)

this.would make sense since the applefarm is closer to the everfree forest making them probably more exposed to magic or maybe applejack was being exposed to strong magic during pregnancy like being near Twi while she casts something big. in my headcanon magic is always something radiating. but i also always liked the Aer idea of tales of vespera where massive amounts of aer could make you sick or transform beings.

I’m going to Headcanon that centaurs result from more magic being involved while satyrs are the natural outcome.

I guess I’m just curious as to which processes have to take place for pony-human reproduction to produce centaurs rather than satyrs. Or vice cersa.

i don´t get the question? but if you mean what i think you could mean i would assume anon and a pony love eachother, consumate their love and somehow equestrian magic adapts pony and human DNA to mix together and create a hybrid much like a satyr with traits of both races eg. ponylegs/mane/eye/tailcolour and a human torso? basicly you put a human torso where the neck/head (of the horse/pony) would be . since a pony body would look odd i took a more horselike one.did i seriously just explained something someone could´ve just googled? yes i did.sigh.

So, how is centaur formed?
