Dentist Commits Suicide In Delhi’s Rohini; Husband Arrested
Osho Prajapati, the husband of the deceased, has been taken into custody in connection with the case. According to the police, the deceased, a dentist, had been living apart from her husband at the time of her death.
A 29-year-old woman allegedly hanged herself from a ceiling fan in her house at Rohini in northwest Delhi, police said on Tuesday.
The deceased’s husband, Osho Prajapati, has been arrested in connection with the case, a police officer said. The deceased, a dentist by profession, was reportedly living separately from her husband, he said.

According to police, the woman’s father reported the tragic incident via a PCR call. While a preliminary inquiry suggests the woman was experiencing personal difficulties, the officer stated that the exact circumstances leading her to take such a drastic step will be determined after an investigation.
A case under Sections 85 and 108 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) has been registered at North Rohini police station, he added.
