@Background Pony #74BA
I saw another fan parody on Youtube, where older Blossom was slightly overweight, Buttercup was addicted to her cellphone, and such.
Even it was more respectable, and not as overly vulgar.
@Beau Skunky
I guess it wont be so bad if they have other lesbian characters but i’m afraid the only other ones will be her girlfriends. That I do mean that was an S because apparently she supposed to be cheating because of course it’s for adults Afterall
@Beau Skunky
Also isn’t necessarily a bad thing about the show I’m not sure if butter cup was the best choice to make the lesbian. pretty sure they only picked her because she’s a tomboy.
^But I heard they’re not doing that part well either ^
@northern haste
I dunno, it’s like they have no clue what will offend fans, or don’t care.
If anything, it wasn’t campy enough… I also didn’t like the implication that Mojo Jojo was dead, but I saw that coming, because no way they’d bother with putting monkey prostetics, or CGI on an actor in a cheap show like this.
@Beau Skunky
It just feels like a joke like they were trying to make it bad.
There is no way They thought fans would be OK was that.
Honestly I dont even think I can give the new version it a chance.
And considering that I heard The reason they were told to do it again was because it was Too Campy And that makes me afraid none of the other shit is going to be fixed
@northern haste
Alot of fans were mad especially, because the CW script actually had the gallbladder to throw shade at the original cartoon, claiming IT WAS the “whitewashed adaption,” and this crappy live-action show was the “real deal.”
I really hate it when reboots bash the original, like “Thundercats Roar” did. Even “Teen Titans Go” had some respect for the original TT, and DC canon.
That’s right, even THAT show had some common sense.
@Revan0123
Really the only reason to do an adult show its for people Who watch the original growing up But I think most fans would prefer an actually mature show.
And of course the script felt like it was trying to piss us off any way
@northern haste
Yeah, some franchises just don’t work as adult shows.
I mean, what’s next, a live action Fosters Home where Mac is revealed to be a mental patient? Or a live action Johnny Bravo where he’s a creepy stalker? Or a live action Ed Edd n Eddy…oh god, they shouldn’t touch that…
