Pinkie’s cake estimation is unerring.
 
Does anybody else think the seating arrangements are a bit weird? Like, all the unicorns somehow ended up sat on one side of the table essentially staring at all the ponies who have to use hooves to manipulate delicate china? It’s like some sort of etiquette-based tearoom nightmare, where you’re the clumsy out-of-town clod facing tutting, refined gentry who know the routine, but also get everything millimetre-perfect using their magical telekinesis abilities, as if to rub it in.

Is it stupid to complain about the portion sizes (in which case Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash are stupid too), or to talk while eating (in which case it’s just Rainbow Dash who’s also stupid), or to dislike alfalfa sprouts (in which case most people are stupid, which admittedly isn’t a very strong argument against it)?

On another note: I once went to a tea room for lunch since there wasn’t anything else good in the area. It was not like I expected and had some variety and pretty decent-sized food; I got myself some steak and eggs with potatoes, toast, and a large helping of fruit. A more formal tea was being had in the same place, but even then it wasn’t exactly small food like they have here.
 
Of course, in some places, refinement means smaller portions.
