Finally, Aeris manages to get him to visit a therapist, wherein Leo confesses that he’s been playing video games to escape the roughness of real life, which started when his parents split up when he was little.
He actually tries to hang himself, only for Aeris to stop him.
I don’t know anyone named Aeris (besides the cat).

Actually, there really are some people with that name.
Leo & Aeris are actually named after Scott’s (the author/cartoonist of VGCats) IRL pet cats.
Well, Aeris (why is she named that while he gets a normal name?) punches him after getting fed up with his goofy personality, and he feels like nothing more than a screw-up.

Kinda interesting, ‘cause usually he’s the perky one. Aeris is usually the cranky cynical one.

Also, I think VG Cats is sort of a hit-and-miss kind of thing with people. Some like it, some don’t. It appeals to people with specific tastes, so I won’t judge them for it.
I think that’s a pretty cool concept. Assassins through different time periods until the final game where it takes place in a futuristic setting.
