Also sort of what gave the original spiderman (and it has been kept for the most part) though he has a good heart, means well and does come through in the end he is far from perfect.

WHY AM I NOT HATING HIM?

(Maybe it’s because he was given an actual likeable personality and genuine interaction with the character that doesn’t feel sappy or forced, instead of feeling like some dude’s attempt to shag Twilight)
