And referencing obvious bait on /mlp/ makes me question the reasoning power of everyone here.
I’m sad people think there was any legitimacy to the poll to begin with.
To get an official opinion, you’d need to ask EVERY SINGLE fan of the show, brony or young girl, and they are only allowed one vote. Being allowing multiple votes is not a fair vote.
And that’s my two cents.
May I remind you that it Rarity who was winning in the first period of voting because of that multiple votes system.
Which is the only reason why Pinkie lost. I only kept up with it for about 2 or 3 Days before I got bored with it…
I did like the question about how Spike was born from a Green & Purple Egg though… Canoncly wrong, but, they went with Spikes version anyway.
In the Rarity fans’ defense, the poll was kind of stupidly designed.
People should’ve only been allowed to vote once. Instead, people could vote for their favorite pony up to 10 extra times, but only if they took the time to answer a bunch of trivia questions.
So the winner was really based on which group of fans would take the time to vote and answer all the trivia questions, everyday.
That whole “Rarity stealing scenes” just exists in the heads of more passionate Rarity fans. It was their way to deal with the disappointment because Rarity didn’t get an episode of her own.
If any other Pony had to win, I’m glad it was Yandershy!

I can understand that, but as another Rarity fan, I’d like to ask my fellow Rarity fans to try to calm down a bit, and take solace in the fact that she did steal almost every scene she was in during season 3.
well, with the poor representation rarity’s been getting over the last year (not a single focus episode), we tend to be a bit more touchy than usual.
Well I didn’t really mean you. This pic just reminded me that what I’ve seen, it seems like whenever someone really is mad about this, it’s usually a Rarity fan. (mocking people who voted for Fluttershy, saying how much better Rarity is than anypony else, poll was faulty etc.)
I’m sure this will wither after some time. This isn’t the first and it certainly will not be the last butthurt causer this fandom has.
Probably for the same reason some people are taking joke responses to the poll seriously.
I’m not mad at all. I didn’t even participate in this poll. I just thought this pic was funny because of how shoddy it is.
And no, I’m not saying all Rarity fans are like that but still…
