So I hd some fun with the sunset shimmer b hysteria just like everyone else was doing. I predicted EQG was going to suck, and IMO I was right. I have low expectations for Season 4, and sunset shimmer never had anything to do with those.
 
I predicted Meghan was lying when she said she knew nothing about Sunset Shimmer, and it turned out she bloody created her. We were all wrong about her in some way or another.

Okay. Now you’re just trying to come up with excuses. Just give it up, dude. Judging from ehat we see in the Season 43 clips, she’s staying an alicorn and staying with her friends.

Andy Price is never going to say anything bad about the show. If you will notice though, IDW has been extremely cautious about introducing Twilicorn into the comics because she is such a hotbed of controversy, especially among the comic readership. If IDW and even Andy Price were really all that gung ho about it, they would just make the change and be done with it. Instead, the editor has basically said “we are waiting until season 4 to decide whether or not that’s the direction we want to go at this point.”
 
Also, you once again bring up the catch 22 of Twilicorn– if it is only an aesthetic change, then they butchered her character and the 2/2/2 symmetry of the cast for no reason. If it is a fundamental change to her character, then Twilight as we knew her is gone. At any rate, we have had Twilicorn for all of 15 minutes between MMC and EQG, so we still do not have a full view of its impact on the show.

Well, the fact Andy Price likes her as an alicorn, there are too many people on Deviantart who draw her as an alicorn in a positive light and praise her transformation should count.

You said Sunset would REPLACE Twilight. Not only did she not replace Twilight, AT ALL, but Twilight is still the same character, wings and size change or not.

I like Twilight better with wings. So that’s +1 to her popularity at least. (Though in fairness she was my #2 favorite after Dash before, too, and the wings didn’t jump her all the way to #1. Yet.)

I don’t know, I think that’ll just make it worse. The best we can do? IGNORE. THEM.

Look mom, old drama that hasbro will never pay attention to, and the rest of us our just sick of!
 
I hope they give Twilight an extra pair of wings just to spite the whiners and drama whores.

While not implicitly stating that alicorn Twilight is bad, this pic seems to suggest that unicorn Twilight is good enough, which can lead to debates over the necessity of alicorn Twilight. It’s drama fuel and no one is laughing at the joke.

There’s no point in bringing this BS up again. Besides, Twilight got a surge of popularity after the wings. Don’t deny it. While I don’t mind milking unicorn Twilight between the seasons while there isn’t enough alicorn material, it’s eventually going to grow old after season 4.

The denial is strong with this one.

I’m no fan of the Twilicorn, but is there really any point to restarting all this crap?
 
She got wings. Whether we like it or not, it happened, and we need to admit it & move on.
