It’s just a commercial from what I understand,but I wouldn’t be surprised if they end up doing a live action show of this.After all,live actions are generally cheaper and a bit faster to do than cartoons.

Our happiness is more important than the kids’… Either way, I don’t pretend to give a shit about toy marketing ‘cause I’ve never entirely encountered a fan who started out in toys, not the show. Although, the show has been entering the normalizing cycle. The thing about cycles is that they are totally unpredictable unless staff changes. With the current staff, the show should remain halfway good beyond S04. Plus, there’s nothing indicating the Neilson meter will go down just yet. By which I mean the target audience shall remain ample. Plus, sales indicate there’s no way in Yomi investments will dry up for the next two years at most… I guess I sort of care. XD

So because I use emotions in my arguments, which is even what people like CR do, my opinions are somehow invalid? Also I clearly said I would NOT burn down a theater for showing some movie I don’t want to see, otherwise the Twilight films and Setzer and Friedburg shallow parody movies alone would have made me a serial arsonist.
 
I take it you are not exactly a fan of politics either since political debates get quite emotional as well. It seems to me you’re saying that emotions in general make an opinion invalid and whatnot. So… the opinions of many famous historical figures are invalid to you then?
 
Look call me a dumb American if you want but I take the First Amendment pretty seriously. Everyone has a right to say what they want and a denial of the right to speak is a serious offense to someone like me. Like I’m not telling you right now to “shut up, I’m right and you’re wrong!” but then again I must confess I am having a hard time telling if you’re trying to tell me to shut up because somehow emotions make the words I speak or type less valid then an emotionless robot. IF you are saying that then yeah I’ll admit I’m done speaking with you, but if you aren’t then I do apologize for a potential misunderstanding.
 
Look I’m already being a major hypocrite right now because I’m getting caught up in PONY DRAMA of all things, something I said long ago I’d never do, but yet here I am involved in an “argument” over ponies and… free speech… look I won’t delete this stuff since I’d rather leave my train of thought intact but oh gosh even I think this is getting stupid even for me, the girl with mild autism.

1.) It’s a valid rheotical device known as ad absurdum, were the logical conclusion of a position is shown to be fallacious by means of hyperbole in most occassions. Your inability to accept it makes no less valid, nor does it make your position any more prudent.
 
2.) No, I am only saying this because people who go into the world believing the source of an argument has any bearing upon it’s validity are only slightly worse than those who think everyone who isn’t of their religion should die, because they are essentially the same person. Debating with such persons is thus a waste of time for everyone involved and no matter what you are told you will argue you are right.
 
Have any opinion you want, I’m just stating you are no good in a debate and your commentaries are to be judge upon that very point: you let your emotions cloud facts and follow from there.
 
As for the theatre burning comment, need I say more?

Maybe “cop out” isn’t the write word but thing is I don’t like these hyperbole arguments of “what if Random-Unpopular-Person found the cure for AIDS” because that’s the kind of stuff I think are more like jokes to use in a comedy skit rather than something to use in an argument. Give me something realistic to work with.

Be straight with me, you’re only saying this because I happen to disagree with the opinions of some random internet critic isn’t it? Newsflash, no one thinks exactly the same way and we all have the right to give our own opinions on matters. I’m not telling anyone to “shut the fuck up” I’m just saying that if I disagree with many of the opinions someone is saying then I have a right to saying what I want regarding why I disagree with their opnions.
 
What you want me to see or read Ender’s Game despite the fact I think the guy behind it is a homophobic piece of shit? No thanks, I’d rather just take things the calm way and just avoid it like the plague, at least I’m not going to do shit like burn down a movie theater just for showing it.

I’m sorry but I hate it when people use that whole “so what if X person who was unpopular found the cure to Random-Devastating-Disease” analogies (or metaphors or whatever I’m not going to argue “words” right now) because it seems like a cop out to me. For example ya wanna know why I’m not going to ever read or see Ender’s game? Because the guy behind the book and movie’s story is an out and out homophobe who I dislike quite a bit BECAUSE of his opinions. Yes I’ll grant comparing CR to Orson Scott Card might be a bit of a harsh hyperbole but I think I get my point across just fine.

All of the episodes you mentioned are S3 episodes I love too, I was just saying that the shorter length of the season means that some fans will have an easier time pointing out the episodes they didn’t like or thought were just “okay,” while with seasons 1 or 2 usually the worst I ever hear is like maybe one or two episodes people thought were “bleh” (like Mysterious Mare Do Well), probably because the higher episode count meant the amount of “great” episodes SIGNIFICANTLY overshadowed the “meh” ones.

Oh I know that one all too well. As someone who’s a fan of Sonic games it’s easy to still find people out there who act like Sonic died in the mid 00s with Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic 06 and act like Sonic Colors and Generations never happened.

I can say that for sure about Family Guy (I never saw early Simpsons because Simpsons has been going on since before I was even born). Early pre-cancellation seasons? Pretty good and full of lots of humor and was something of a boundary pusher for the 90s. Post-revival Family Guy? Pretty much a shell of it’s former self, with the writing and jokes now feeling really bland and uninspired. (oddly enough American Dad, Seth McFarlane’s other show, has actually gotten better over time… I guess we known where all the better FG talent went then)
 
Oh and Spongebob, just about every post-Movie season has been pretty “meh” and the “specials” they make with celebrity guest voices tend to just suck (not even David Bowie could save “Atlantis Squarepantis,” as much as it pains me to say that since I love Bowie…).
 
I’m still really hoping that won’t happen to FiM anytime soon, especially now that we’re getting back to making 26 episode seasons so things won’t feel “rushed” like parts of season 3.
