Just because they won’t show obvious on-screen death doesn’t mean death literally doesn’t exist. I’m sure some ponies and changelings were killed in all the chaos and violence of the battle.

Yep, nice that Blossomforth got a cameo in the show.
 
With the upcoming “Crystal Ponies” story, it’d be pretty great if Minuette turned up in the actual show (and put all this confusion between her and Colgate to rest.)

There are a lot who aren’t from the show because Hasbro is re-generating a lot of G3 characters.  
Also, just because they’re not in the show now, it doesn’t mean they won’t be someday. Blossomforth was once just a G3-to-G4 toy.  
We already have about 26 blind bags that look like minor characters from the show, excluding repeats. It is unlikely that this was made randomly.  
Also, blind bags ARE really lousy, but that’s because they’re supposed to be cheap. If you compare blind bag Cherry Berry with brushable Cherry Berry, you’ll see the brushable is practically flawless. Eye color and cutie mark were re-adjusted to look exactly like what they do in the show, and they use a proper vector for Cherry Berry, rather than re-coloring Pinkie Pie. And Daisy even had her eyes adjusted to have the right shade of green.

The vast majority of the blindbag ponies aren’t from the show. Some happen to resemble background ponies, but only because both are made randomly from a finite number of possible attributes, and the people running the wiki have a very wide tolerance for what constitutes “resemblance”.

So all the old bridesmaids are unicorns. Seems legit.

It surprises me that anyone assumed them dead. Like hasbro would kill any pony…

@PPPP It is notable that the toys were intended to represent their show counterparts, but Hasbro changes whatever they think it’s necessary to make they look more “acceptable” in the market.  
Don’t you remember “Pinklestia”? It’s a perfect example of what I’m saying.

This was a response to speculation about A Canterlot Wedding where they are replaced by changelings/hypnotized btw. As if you didn’t already know.

That reminds me, I should upload that picture I did of Colgate and Minuette.

The Minuette on the blindbag card doesn’t even look like Colgate. The “Goldengrape” toy has a completely different mane color than the background pony they say he is.
 
What’s the MLP wiki’s deal with pigeonholing background ponies and toy ponies together?

Only a matter of time until Rainbow Dude or whoever replaces the “Colgate” tag with the “Minuette” one.
