Thing is, she didn’t like doing “Slice of Pony Life,” which was good, I admit, but that’s why I said I don’t think she could handle a full animated series yet.
Edited
I’d have to disagree about ego. Her Slice of Pony Life series has been outstanding, near-perfect stuff. And I say JanAnimations should animate, not write.
They’re not infallible either if you ask me… I love JanAnimations’ past works, but I didn’t like “Button’s Adventures” honestly as I said already. (If all you hate “Double-Rainboom” for having references, an unexpected crossover, and such, then why does “Button’s Adventures” get a free-pass when it had just as many bad jokes, and references?) I’m so sick of hearing how “awesome” that one is, when it was just as flawed as Double Rainboom was. (And frankly I enjoyed Double Rainboom more, regardless of it’s flaws.)
Also Ego seems to be more of an artist then a writer, but her comics are nice sometimes, I admit. I don’t think she’d be willing to write for an entire half-hour fan animated short. (But you never know.)
While I loved Ego’s Woonastuck series, I felt the “real villain” kinda came out of nowhere. So even her writing/story-telling isn’t perfect either.
You’d need more then just two people to make a huge project like that.
Are you comparing two VERY DIFFERENT THINGS to each other?
Seriously?
gg no re guys you fucking killed me.
You’re comparing Double Rainboom to Michaelangelo’s David.
I… I actually have no words to express my disappointment.
>Double Rainboom had a few flaws, but nothing fatal. It was highly enjoyable.
Well to each their own. I couldn’t stand Button personally. D.R. wasn’t perfect either, but I honestly prefer it, and Snowdrop over Button’s Adventure, but that’s just my opinion.
Honestly, I found his voice less obnoxious because it was an original concept for a voice rather than a crappy impersonation of an existing character voice.
“No, this is Patrick.”
Sorry, I couldn’t resist.
The audio quality was poor. It had barely any audio correction within the entire thing and due to some having poor microphones you can tell when they got new ones.
Zachary rushed it in everything, all he did was make the main focus the animation, which is what he hyped it up for.
And for anyone wondering, yes, this is Lenny.
This. I didn’t mind the animation even though it was funny in a few areas, but good lord the lack of a plot made it hard for me to pay attention. I pretty much gave up all hope during the 2nd half.
That’s alright. Each to his own opinion.
Even then your comment of people hating it not being able to know what pure quality is was a little harsh, and I would never call it a successful, I have to side with Blackie on his first comment to you.
Sorry.
And then?
At least you have a good review on the episode.
It’s far from what i would call awesome, it’s okay but nothing great, and nothing like what it was hyped up to be, far from show quality.
