Recoils from the clash, then has to duck Celestia’s first strike, and then is hit by her thrust.
Celestia is actually wielding a halberd, so he might have been focused on blocking a swinging attack from the axe-head (notice how his head shifts while the weapon swings by him). But then Celly reverses into a stab with the spear-head.
He seems distracted by the spear it happens in fights you get to focused on something and make a mistake
