The Claudio to Blueblood’s Benedick?
That was… 4 years ago…
But, on the other hand, are you really still salty about something that happened in the Season 1 finale? An unapologetic narcissist is hardly the height of evil or the worst thing we’ve seen since then. Even in S1, Gilda was basically a worse character to be around.
And yes, even now, years later, I can confirm that Twiblood STILL has more entertainment potential than a bland ship with a bland character like Flash Sentry who has the defining character trait of… of uh… defining character trait of… being… guitar playing and nonthreatening? Not that either of them have much characterization or have been given much attention over these years, but Flash was always more flash than substance.
Not that I ship anything in particular, but it isn’t hard to look at these things analytically and quantitatively. Blueblood’s character in particular (the prideful and mischievous nobleman) is one that many romantic comedies and dramas find use of. You’ll find this character in Shakespeare and Arabian Nights, going back centuries and likely more (I know much less about ancient literature). Flash’s character archetype? Not so much. Mostly because his character is about being a non-disruptive setpiece and male trophy, which doesn’t make for much of a story.
Are you really shipping Twilight with the worst character one the show.
Better to use an established character with some history than create a “hey, totally unique color scheme guyz” royal guard. Who practically has just as little background to him as Blueblood, Donut Joe, Fancypants, or most any other male pony. I’d take either of the three mentioned as preferable to Flash. I’d even prefer Flash if he was, literally, just a generic guard with the generic guard color scheme. It’d be a fun running gag that we’d never be able to know when he’s on screen.
Yeah. I gotta agree. Twiblood is where the fun’s at, baby.
Why should I want to protect the guy who looks like the product of drunken orgy between Sombra, Berry Punch and the Koolaid Man?
Are you protecting Flash or the OC? Given how things are these days, one never knows…
A tad.
You nuts?
TwiBlood FTW!
