Lyra and Bon Bon were closer to each other than Rarity and Applejack, but I don’t really care since they’re background character anyway.  
And you do have a point, Rarity might just have been disappointed by multiple boys and eventually decided to go with her best friend - Applejack.

Is there really any other way to see this other than shipping? I mean maybe Rarity took to long to find a date and Applejack just decided to ask her, but that still doesn’t explain why Rarity is hanging on her. If Applejack was just doing it because she was being friendly then why would she let it get this far? I do enjoy Rarimac more though but Rarijack is still fun at times. I just really like the idea of Rarity becoming Applejacks sister so yeah. Did any of the other characters do this? I can’t remember if it is just Applejack and Rarity, or some of the others getting a little cozy.

Is this something normal for teens to do nowadays? Holding her arm like that looks more like a couple thing, it isn’t just me is it? I mean if teens ARE doing it now then maybe it just is something. BUt I highly doubt it

If Sparity can have hundreds of pics on here by having the two together, I think it’s fair to have this as Rarijack.

You gotta admit, they were pretty damn close in this movie…

Some day, this will become canon. And I will be happy. :)
