This is pretty cool, though I’m pretty sure there’s some holes in your logic along the way. :) But still awesome, nonetheless.
 
What I’d like to see would be a massive timeline taking into account all the generations of MLP. Where could Ponyland and Dream Castle/Paradise Estate fit into this, for instance? :)

And where are the fucking Dragon Wars or the First Contact war with the Gryphons or the birth of Starswirl the Bearded ?

If you had read more detailed take on it in the thread I gave a link in “Description”, you would had notice that in my headcanon crystal pony named Swarovski [?-185 B.N.M.] “13.1) He manage to create Crystal Heart by means nopony nowadays knows.” Crystal Heart was made to protect crystal ponies.

My headcanon is that the number of bells wasn’t just some random number, but rather a number with some meaning behind it. Maybe they represent all schools of magic or all principles of magic or something else. After all, even if Luna had knew Starswhirl personally, I doubt she would remember how many bells he had unless there is some sort of meaning behind them.

That doesn’t quite work since they would still have had to find the heart before Discord’s rule started. So if we are going with them hiding the Crystal Empire would have to have been founded before Discord rather than during it.

I agree with this so much. The only change I would make to it would be that Starswirl was just really old when he met Celestia and Luna. We know of age reversal spells, so it stands to reason he might have casted it on himself on occasion thus he could easily be the oldest mortal unicorn in the setting. I like to think he taught them magic and such, which would explain why Luna would know him so well enough to remember the number of bells. All personal headcannon though.

Technically Spike just said it was before the princess’s rule Equestria, that doesn’t mean they didn’t exist just that they weren’t active in the public or political sphere. Considering Luna could identify Starswhirl and knew the exact number of bells on his hat it stands to reason the princess’s were acquainted with him personally.

When? I can’t remember such thing explicitly stated. I have heard that someponies thinks Luna had met him, because she recognized Twilight’s costume.

One caveat though: Celestia and Luna both have said that they are acquainted with Starswirl, and since Starswirl existed pre-Equestria, we can logically assume (given all the evidence that the show has presented so far) that Celestia and Luna also existed pre-Equestria.

Short answers is that crystal ponies used the power of the Crystal Heart to keep Empire hidden from Discord. You can see more details in link I put in Description-box.

I’m for the ¨Discord/Sombra and possibly others shared the world¨ theory. While I don’t think it would be possible to ever have a canon history, there might be a chance to know if Celestia and Luna were born in the Discord ruled equestria or in a safe heaven elsewhere so you can still be proven right.

The only issue I have is I really don’t think Discord would let any other kingdom be founded or ruled while he was in power. I don’t think the Crystal Empire was founded until after he was taken out. The Empire could have even been founded in order to help stabilize everything after Discord’s rule.
