I mean, fluffybooru didn’t survive and it was made by people.

so the programmed biotoys that were made to be totally dependant on humans, are dumb as rocks and could never hurt anyone even if they wanted to survive the apocalypse but humanity doesn’t?! ..no just no.

Sad part is animals will evolve to become intelligent and we’ll be long gone.

I’d say their fast breeding helped them adapt. Evolution states that, as the ones unable to adapt to their environment die off, the ones more capable will breed in their place. Thus, the stupid ones would die off, and the smarter ones would take their place. Thus, when humans die, the ponies might manage.

There have been a lot of stories where fluffies managed to survive in a wild environment without human interaction, and usually when the interaction with the humans starts it’s when they start to die.
 
I think they would be able to survive without humans, after all humans are the only species that seeks their extiction, I dunno if they would become a dominant species or something, but they should be able to survive long enough to reproduce an keep expanding by themselves.

I don’t know, considering how stupid and reliant on humans most fluffies are, I think they would die off about a decade or two after humans at the most.
 
Most stories indicate they’re like rats and cockroaches and mostly survive on waste food with what seems like more than 95% of the ones away from human civilization dieing from disease, starvation, exposure, or predators.
 
Only thing that keeps there numbers up is that they breed like rabbits on viagra.

So the humans destroyed themselves and then the G1 ponies evolved from the fluffies who had still some basic technical ideas from the old humans, but they evolved into a technical/magical society as known as Equestria?
