I’ll give you that Princess. Maybe if we do more episodes featuring her, we could flesh her out. (Kind of like Rarity, who was pretty much just the standard prissy girl until she got her own spotlight.)

personally I found her personality to be a tad bit bland. Her personality is pretty much just being a woobie. Which annoyed me a little.
However, that said. I still really like her and find her absolutely adorable.

So because she was a friend to Luna, we should despise her….Welp then you should go hate on Twilight. She befriended her. (Though in future episodes Luna kind of gave her the cold shoulder and acted distant.)
Maybe it’s a common ‘handshake’ alicorns share with those close to them. Something of a tradition among Celestia’s family.
