Helping a friend whether stuck atop somewhere high or near death of dehydration due to a broken water-suit…^^;
Okay…after my depression of Father’s Day has finally come and pass and went through three pieces of artwork to express my severed and bitter mood in regards to the holiday [link] [link] [link] I’m OKAY now and happily continuing fanart for my ‘cartune universe’. This picture :iconarrowupplz: is the second to last Mr. Men crossover comic before I will FINALLY do my next cartune universe story which finally introduces them to the cartune family and friends, all of which takes place sometime after Twilight Sparkle got her wings and became the next alicorn princess and indicated from my recent oneshot [link]. ;)
Let me introduce which Mr. Men character is who:
:bulletblue: Mr. Tall is the very blue, VERY tall guy with the brown fedora. He had only ONE major role from The Mr. Men Show, and that one role shows that with his great height…he has a really great voice. He sounds like a basketball player! :XD:
:bulletpink: Little Miss Helpful is the obviously the only female Mr. Men character in this piece. I LOVE her design as it differs her from various other female Mr. Men characters; I mean how many female characters do we know today that wears a fanny pack? :XD: As her name implies, she offers help to others whenever she can…though most of the time it backfires. ^^;
:bulletyellow: And Mr. Bounce. He’s the smallest of the Mr. Men characters but he’s quite an interesting fellow. He can BOUNCE. You can throw him from a cliff and he’ll come right back up. :lol: Also, he speaks with an Indian accent, so that pretty much implies ‘epic’ right there. :D

:bulletorange: For any Disney fan who still watches Disney Channel every now and then would probably recall Bea from Fish Hooks. If anyone remembers the earlier episodes, the student fish usually exit their fish tanks and able to breath out of their environment with the use of a special ‘water-suit’. From what I recall, there are two types: One is circular-like glass bubble which attaches to the backside of its carrier, transparent so you can see the amount of water it currently holds(that’s the water suit I usually draw when it comes to adding Fish Hooks characters to my crossovers). The other kind of water-suit consist of a massive machine worn like a hiker’s pack and sprays water into the eyes after the course amount of time. From what I can assume, the smaller one might be the cheaper one. And sometimes the cheaper ones can be defective or can easily break if handled too roughly.
It’s hard to play basketball when you’re a fish relying on the cheaper water-suit because the bigger one ruins your game mood. That’s why you always bring water with you everywhere as Luna demonstrates. ^^;
Remember that song from the last Season 3 MLP FIM episode ‘Magical Mystery Cure’ called ‘A True, True, Friend’? That’s the song I believe totally fits this comic, especially the top panel. :aww: A true, true friend helps a friend in need…:sing:
Mr. Tall, Miss Helpful, and Mr. Bounce from The Mr. Men Show (c) Kate Boutilier and Eryk Casemiro
Bea from Fish Hooks (c) Noah Jones
Princess Luna from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (c) Lauren Faust
Rigby from Regular Show (c) J.G. Quintel
Why are they in seemingly related pictures but some how… are not related to it in any way?
I guess because Mr. Men uses backgrounds like that most of the time? I’m not sure.
It’s more like: “Now that she’s over her depression, she’s doing her usual poorly conceived trail-mix of crossovers again”.
Only that trail-mix is not the good kind of ingredients.
Lu?? I refuse to call Luna by the name of that bitch from Mike, Lu and Og.
