what i do is this: i’ll say something like “yeah i’m not the greatest but i could be worse” and then work my way up to genuine complements from there :33

I do all of these things every day except practicing positive self talk, and it doesn’t work.

I let people speak for me because then I know what they say is true but if I say things about myself then it just feels hollow, especially when I have to resort to saying nice things about myself because nobody else does.
