I like this comic because Twilight’s feelings are resolved with cake and not with reconciliation with Trixie :)

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

Humiliated? She challenged the ponies that heckled and booed her (Which they were doing before Trixie even brought up the Ursa story). AJ RD and Rarity could’ve kept their mouths shut and let everypony else enjoy the show, or just not step on stage.

@NotThatAnyoneCares

You brought up valid points abouts her flaws. It probably wasn’t a free show, and she reacted very badly to criticism, but she didn’t deserve anything nearly as bad as what she got.

Her home was crushed and all her worldly possessions were destroyed. There’s a difference between justice and torment, and what happened to Trixie wasn’t just by any stretch of the imagination. She didn’t seem to learn the lesson she needed, as she ran off instead of eating the slice of humble pie that was served to her. If anything, I’d expect what she went through to make her worse, to compensate for her perceived humiliation.

I hate this comic.

And I hate the constant rush to defend and praise Trixie. We have no proof it was a free show - for all we know she was interrupted before she could pass the hat.

Boastful narcissist nothing. She deliberately called out and humiliated people just because they had the nerve to dislike her performance. That’s not narcissism, that’s outright megalomania.

And there’s a difference between being a showman and keeping people around just to inflate your own ego with tales of your granduar.

Trixie didn’t get half as much of a punishment as she deserved, and I hate how much the fanbase handjobs and bows to her.

This was made before “Trixie” and “Lulamoon” were used within the same name by Hasbro, by the way. @Fadri’s pretty good at these things.

Ah, what a well-written cartoon FiM is.
Where things like this are considered just a-OK and real perpetrators are ‘punished’ by being given moustaches.

Anyone with some carnie knowledge (or common sense) knows that most showpeople make things up just to impress the audience. It’s kayfabe - nopony would want to see “the average and fairly weak Trixie” after all.

Not to mention she put on a free show that everypony else absolutely loved. Had the Mane 6 just kept quiet about their opinions, Trixie would have gone on her merry way. No issues.
I honestly think that people are willing to give Trixie a second chance because of the nature of her punishment. Whether or not you think she’s an annoying bitch is up to you, but I don’t think being a boastful narcissist warrants you losing all of your worldly possessions and having your name dragged through the mud.

Ah, Trixie…

I kinda hope that she comes back in dire straits just as a “Fuck You” to everyone that thought of her as a villain. Sure, she was a jerk, but she was a show pony that lost her house to the actions of a pair of nitwits.
