One of the illustrations that I originally created for my 13 Nights of Halloween art pack back in October. I'm still offering the pack, which comes in higher quality resolution than the ones i'm posting here in a pay what you want method in case you are curious.

Yeah, Either way it’s better than have something related to gladiators be the name of her outfit. (Seriously tho? I don’t get the gladiator vibes that others get. Looks nothing like a gladiator.)
Hoplite Sparkle is pretty awesome too.
I figured, but my point still stands out.
This is just Princess Athena, predating the fighting popstar we know today.
This one originated in the mid-80’s, not that the people in business suits know about the SNK games before the NEO-GEO arcade and consoles.
For a pretty sexy character, Athena Asamiya is sorta underrated (especially her older incarnation).
Kudos for posting that picture.
It was either this or Hoplite Sparkle. I just went with the one that best suited her character.
I guess so.
This particular sort is usually shown on Athena, but it just as easily be a model of guard armor no longer used.
It helps she was also a goddess of knowledge associated with owls, so the connection was probably thought of.
But she was specifically dressed as Athena
