“Ah, how… quaint. Then I assume this means this purchase was within the boundaries of your allowance?”

On the opposite side of Fleur de Lis and Fancy Pants… Jet Set and Upper Crust are a standard married-to-get-richer heterosexual couple who conform to society’s every whim and enjoy every minute of their life built off the backs of others. As a standard (mostly) hetero couple, they found it appropriate to have an heir to continue their legacy, as is tradition for most Canterlot families. That heir is Lily Lace.
Jet Set is a corporate lawyer, and Upper Crust is a project director for various renovations in Canterlot. They’re hoping that Lily Lace chooses a wonderful job that rakes in money, and thus teach her the wonders of allowances, stocks, bank accounts, and so on… However Lily Lace is a child, and they highly overestimated the needs, and most importantly, the wants of a child.
She’s not… difficult persay, but they just don’t know how to manage someone so disinterested in the power of money and networking. She wants to play, run around, and ignore every life lesson they try to teach her. She’s always vying for their attention when surely she can just figure out “how to eat cereal with a fork” or “why don’t the eggs at the store hatch” on her own. She could easily have the butlers watch her do a cartwheel or whatever instead of interrupting their important business ventures.
It seems having an heir is a lot more work than they thought. Maybe they can find a use for her later.

well i forgot to add their cutie marks even though i kept saying “add the cutie marks add the cutie marks” but here i am. LMAO i don’t like jet set’s cutie mark because it has airplanes and airplanes don’t exist. i don’t like upper crust’s cutie mark because having three dollar signs doesn’t make sense to me LOL born to be rich??? good at getting rich??? i don’t know lol. lily lace can kkeep her cutie mark though. i guess ill just post them with the references later :sob:
