Description
Commission for someone on DeviantArt. Poses chosen by the commissioner; dress design by me. I wanted something a bit more modern and simple for her (1950s New- Look-inspired). The bodice jewels are part of an illusion collar (i.e. see-through fabric). And yes, as per the commissioner’s request, she is wearing glass slippers.
And curtseying. She really is looking like a princess. Princess of Generosity. I can’t believe she has her cutie mark in the front and back of her skirt, the front and back of her bodice, and on her tiara/crown.

It was the commissioner’s idea, but it totally works for her!
I do like the “Costume Conundrum” design, but it reads more like “prom” than “court gown” to me, for some reason. With this design I was going for the latter, of course.

It depends if I get a commission to design dresses for them all, but I do enjoy drawing these, so hopefully! And, honestly, I would rather design an original dress for Applejack because the blue frilly one was for the sake of a joke. I did do an original design for Sunset Shimmer as well. (See the bottom panel).

This dress obviously fits her better!
Whenever I was in a show with full skirt costumes that was basically how I spent my time backstage lol
