Actually, no they’re not. They and all other toy companies are freaking out majorly because apparently boys don’t want to play with toys anymore and the only emerging market is stuff like Monster High and EqG.

There’s a difference between being a decent movie and being profitable. If the two were interchangeable then how come michael bay movies are profitable?

I think we are worse than the Sonic fandom when it comes to being unpleasable.

They really should have made something new instead of choosing Equestria girls if they wanted to compete with Mattel.
 
The only thing we, and possibly tween girls, would be interested in is the movie. I don’t see anyone choosing the toy when they could be grabbing a barbie or a monster high doll, which, as much as it pains me to admit it, are superior.

We bitch when Hasbro caters to the target audience.  
We bitch when Hasbro pays attention to us.  
We bitch when we perceive they aren’t paying enough attention to us.  
We bitch that the toys aren’t accurate enough, then don’t buy them when they release accurate ones.
 
Man, this fandom sure is great at telling a corporation what they want! Any corporation that has any sense should listen to us, because we’re definitely secure income.

What Hasbro wants=/=what we need

The problem with this article is that Hasbro needs it to be profitable. I don’t think the movie is going to be profitable though.
