Poster here. Haven’t made DBooru acct yet. FiM was animated with 2D digital puppets, reused for every scene and altered to create each pony. The angle that Twilight’s head is at in this screencap is commonly referred to as the 3Q angle. If the pony is facing directly away from the camera, and then they turn three-quarters (3Q) of the way towards the camera, that’s the resulting angle.
