People have different likes and dislikes.
If someone likes or dislikes shipping then whatever, etc.
Me personally Lyrabon is my favorite shipping pairing, but do I care about whenever someone says it’s not canon? Nope, cause it’s all make believe, even the characters are make believe and that getting upset whenever something isn’t canon or is canon is like someone getting upset that someone ruined your pillow fort.
Just cause someone is shipping lyra and bonbon doesn’t matter; just cause someone isn’t shipping lyra and bonbon doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter if someone ships, or reading shipping fanfics, or reads fanfics, or anything of the sort cause it’s all a make believe world that our imagination brings to life. Like winnie the pooh it’s a world of imagination that we in our head’s make real and give life to the characters. The show merely is the narrator in the land of imagination that we all hold for the show.
