I honestly believe that’s mostly due to people’s inability to learn, wether it’s through their own mistakes or others. Some people are just too arogant to see past their flaws and therefore see themselves as flawless while seeing everyone else as flawed.
Technically, yes. It is. But history has a bad habit of repeating itself, to the point where you wonder if history is supposed to repeat itself.

They have a Roman Pegasus, a Nordic Earth Pony, Egyptian Pegasus, Gypsy Earth Pony, and I believe Celtic Unicorn.
Yeah, I wouldn’t bother looking too much into it, the guy just seems to get his butt-hole easily turned inside out over th slightest bit of criticism.
It was way back last year when Writer/Manchild Jeremy Whitley banned someone from his twitter thread and accused that person for being a troll and being “hateful” simply because a reader didn’t like his oc. It was the return of King Sombra arc. Apparently this reader wasn’t the only one who cared much for the way the story was handled and was given heavy criticism for it. Granted some people were being just straight rude, but that’s twitter for you. Anyway, he decides to ban and ignore any and all comments for just having the slightest hint of criticism and to add insult to further injury he decides to get upon his Social Justice High Horse and goes off on a tangent about how there’s no LGBT charaters in kids entertainment… or something to that extent. So for a while it was all I ended up hearing about here on Derrpibooru. And after reveiwing some of his previous tweets he kinda comes off as someone who thinks they deserve a gold star for being the worlds biggest doushewaffle.
Though I myself could be wrong about the guy, for all I know he could be pretty pleasant in person. But the way he handled criticism has pretty much left a stain on his image.
Damn, I guess I don’t follow IDW as closely as I had thought. I only know of the situations involving Anderson and Fosgitt, and the remainder being general complaints on story and art style. :T
