The thing that bothers me about them is that they have influence. I would be satisfied if they simply acknowledged the fan names, but they refuse to do that because of their “policy”
 
There is the fan wikia, but it usually goes unnoticed compared to the main one. Maybe they need to promote the fan wikia more, and it wont be so bad.

Agree. I’m french and Bon Bon (Which means candy) is just, umm, bizarre for me, And I wonder why english names are OK for me, but not french names? (Except 1 or 2 characters in the show) Maybe it’s just me.

I’ll say this; I would not want to be a 5-year-old girl who really likes that one cream-colored pony with the curly blue and pink mane.
