Judging by the link she tweeted right afterwards, I don’t think it’s too hard to figure out how she feels about it. That, and the fact that she said she was bummed out (on /mlp/).

I really have no idea what Lauren’s reaction to it, all she does is sending a picture of crappy Equestria Girls doll and nothing else.  
Is she happy about it or sad about it? I’m now confused.

They are lifeless corpses that don’t represent what they’re supposed to be. The animations were millions and quadrillions times more beautiful than this. Now look how ugly these… things, are.
 
These don’t deserve to be on shelves, incinerating thess demons are the only way to stop the madness.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like the idea of Equestria Girls and don’t think it’s something that anyone should encourage Hasbro to continue with, no matter how the movie turns out but….maybe I’m just a horrible person, but I’m actually beginning to enjoy the insanity of this. It’s just SO. Incredibly. WEIRD. And Lauren’s tweets are just the icing on the cake, in a way. Glad she sorta spoke up. Sure, it’s not a great situation at all, but for now I just find myself laughing at the ridiculousness. I’m not even surprised at these designs.

Big surprise, they look like Monster High.

Okay, whatever my take on EQG is, I can’t deny these are some fugly dolls.

Huh, neat. Looks just like the Monster High dolls.

Like many said before, Hasbro was never the type to make toys that look good in the eyes of adults.

You know, I’m pretty neutral when it comes to film. Despite the cheesy high school setting and teenage archetypes, whether it’ll come out fine or not, I can’t really say until it finally arrives.
 
But I can’t say the same for these toys. These are just UGLY and frankly, I’d be a little upset if I saw these too.

Poor Lauren. If I had poured years of my life and literal blood, sweat and tears into ponies trying to make something new and different for girls with a genuine positive message, only to see Hasbro turn what I did into this shit just so they could fill their pockets with more cash and shit on everything that made FIM great (and popular), I’d be pissed too.
