And I’m a bit surprised that /mlp/ doesn’t dump on DHN just for hosting “Help! My Heart Is Full of Pony”, which is all about promoting love and tolerance.

I see. Hopefully, the search engine will be even more useful to the Web at large once we can do a reindex over the tokenized, wilcardable tag fields and roll out the new search form code.
Reports on leaks, posts editorials on drama (without being ignorant), comments on the ‘dark side’ of the fandom (as EQD users might put it) and doesn’t afraid of anything.
They’re like the Headline News to CNN of the late 90’s/early 2000’s, because it all became about Nancy Grace and Jane Valez Mitchell.
And if anyone actually understand what I mean by that, you will make me feel less old than I actually am.
As for where Hate and Penetrate came from, I suppose it’s because of all the explicit content and discussion on /mlp/, as well the preference of not buying into the love and tolerate bullshit and instead favoring being open and honest (even if it’s mean) when we dislike something.
A child will tell you they want to hear only good things, an adult will want to hear the good and the bad. Some of these sites tend to act like the child more than the adult.

I’d gamble /mlp/ is extremely tsundere for Derpibooru. This is ‘my’ opinion, not the voice of the entire board. This is the mistake many other people lurking out of /mlp/ make and I intend not to do that. My words here do not represent the official stance of /mlp/ at all.
You’ve got a decent image search and reverse search engine, you allow explicit content, you tend to own up to your bullshit and people here will call others out on it (like your ‘forced meme’ tag, other sites ate up shit like Gak and numerous other crap) and…

I don’t think I’ve ever come across hate for Derpibooru on /mlp/. I don’t think /mlp/ has a reason to hate this site. When I made the thread on /mlp/ for this image, I asked “who are our partners-in-crime,” the only blank parts being Lawful Evil and Neutral Evil.

As the anon who suggested lawful evil, it’s because they’ve presented a very ‘IDGAF’ attitude about the fandom and its drama, have openly criticized the more laudable parts of the fandom (like calling out how terrible and fan pandering and subjective versus objective the bronydoc was) and haven’t acted like anyone associated with r34 is scum or pretend that they don’t partake in such things… Like those in the ‘good’ category do with say JJ or some other super popular artists who draw explicit content and never mention it ever.
I believe the idea is we think positively of DHN… Because they’re not ‘concerned’ too intensely about speaking their minds, focus more on personality and the quality of the content they post, rather than pandering to fans, the advertisors, Hasbro and the staff.
That and it’s not bloated with users and the people running DHN have the decency to actually speak on the same level as the commentators, rather than putting themselves on a pedestal like a certain huge news site does.
No? I’m just saying that the image works because it’s parody in the idea that EQD and Ponychan think so highly of themselves that they would make a chart like this and assume themselves to be good, rather than make a more objective approach to something like this.
The image was really made as a joke AFAICT, nothing is too serious.

The ‘only’ thing I think should have made an edit before exiting the board was Tumblr being chaotic good, because Tumblr itself (at least for pony shit) is really split down the middle.
Whereas the ‘evil’ parts of the MLP related reddit, are treated as non-existent. AFAIK, the MLP subreddit feigns ignorance of r/clopclop.
Tumblr on the other hand as the cloppers just wanting to keep to themselves, another group being respectfully in the middle and another group being hostile towards r34 for moral or entertainment based reasons. They’re too divided to be ‘good’ imho.
But OP did the best he could and he brought up a meta thread that wasn’t about the shitposting going on there, so kudos.
