I’m giving the movie the benefit of the doubt for now, but here’s a thought…
 
All this hatred over things being thrown in an entirely unfamiliar new direction is a testament to the love we have for the show as fans… If everybody hated Friendship is Magic from the beginning or just didn’t care one way or the other, I doubt we’d be bitching.
 
In no way am I implying that directing all this animosity toward the show staff themselves is anything short of childish and completely uncalled for, but still.
 
You people need to stop hinging your whole viewpoint on the future of the franchise… You’ll still be able to enjoy what already exists. The old episodes you love will still be there when it finally ends. There will always be artists creating new content. There’s the comics! The world is not coming to an end because of this…

His name was Quozl. He started out sending Tress MacNeille marriage proposals, naturally they went unanswered so he started getting more and more like those old Hollywood soap stalkers, being able to tell her what her children were wearing to the smallest detail, what she ate at every meal over an entire week, and the travel route she routinely used for work, among other things. There was a very real fear he’d show up at a comicon and pull a Hinckley to either ‘prove his love for her’ or ‘respond to her rejection in person.’ Luckily for all he self-destructed and became a Chris-chan a decade early instead. I reckon the MLP equiv would be someone pissed at her OC being in the show and telling Sibsy about he ‘knew about her and mando since x date’ and was going to find her and punch her in the throat at a restaurant.
 
They also mocked him pretty well in Animaniacs as well  
Fifi and Minerva cultivated their fair share of insane adoring fanboys as well. Twily and Fluttershy and Dash have nothing on this furry trio!

Completely true. Some people even say that it was one of the factors that convinced them to stop working on Tiny Toons. It had naturally run its course and they wanted to make Animaniacs anyway so it may not be a complete factor, but it’s supposedly something they thought of.
 
I always thought it was strange how they made merch for Tiny Toons long, long after it went off the air. They had PS1 games for a show that hadn’t had a new episode since 1992.

They had to cancel a bunch of appearances because one of the VAs had a pretty prolific stalker. They got back at him though, they put him in the last episode of the series as a really creepy guy who liked Fifi La Fume far too much.
