My two-bits says the original context of the scene where she ran into the door is that she’s distracted and then suddenly: random door.

Maybe those are just signs someones taped to the other side of the glass.

Wait a sec… That door’s push to open! There’s no handle on Twilight’s side! Why the hell is it staying closed?

This is absurd. She knows what glass is (Canterlot has tons of it in various colors) and she knows what a door is. I really hope the show doesn’t turn into one long slapstick routine.

Seriously, if half the humor in this is going to be about how Twilight doesn’t know how to act like a human, it’s going to get old woefully quick, and it will say quite a bit about how clueless the writers are about how to characterize her.
