  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

The Cloward–Piven strategy is a political strategy outlined in 1966 by American sociologists and political activists Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven that called for overloading the U.S. public welfare system in order to precipitate a crisis that would lead to a replacement of the welfare system with a national system of "a guaranteed annual income and thus an end to poverty". Cloward and Piven were a married couple who were both professors at the Columbia University School of Social Work. The strategy was formulated in a May 1966 article in liberal[1] magazine The Nation titled "The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty

    duh, you think?

    Absolutely.

Obama's real challenge now is that he is lying so badly and incompetently that his boss, Valerie Jarrett, has stepped in and is lying for him. I started a new thread on her latest Twitter-fart.

And you still refuse to acknowledge the fact that young healthy people will not buy bloated health coverage they don't need so the government can subsidize insurance for the poor and sick. Not gonna happen Jack!

    Holy shit

I found a fucking pink unicorn!! Someone actually had enough brains to sit down and think about it rationally, and come up with the only rational answer.

    Lied to

I hate being lied to. Obama has lied out his ass for five years. "If you like the coverage you have now, and want to keep the PCP you visit. Well you can keep both. Period!" Bull fucking shit! He claimed that Obamacare would be defective neutral, only adding $1 trillion in debt over 10 years. Now it's $2.5 trillion and CLIMBING! Fucking lie! He said that premiums would be reduced $2500 per family! That's for damn sure a lie. He claims Obamacare is "the law of the land" yet he continues to delay certain parts, give waivers to special groups. He doesn't have the authority to do that. People are waking up. I work in state government and I deal with the general public everyday. I've not found one person say anything positive about Chernobylcare.

    WTF

Obama is a lying piece of shit. People that are kicked off their insurance can get coverage on the exchange if it ever works, but the premium will be at least 300% higher!

    How did Social Security "fail"?

    How did Medicaid "fail"

I have been on Social security for 15 years.
    I have never needed medicaid

It would have been nice had social security (which began the year I was born 1936) had remained a self sustaining trust fund but it didn't. Still it is a viable and necessary program if congress could keep their hands out of it's receipts.

You didn't ask me and you probably don't want to hear my answer to this question that I don't think you really want the answer to but I will give it anyway because there might be other people that might be genuinely interested.

Before I do I will say that I am not answering this as a Republican. I am answering it because I am a citizen of the United States who has paid into the Social Security program for 25 years and I looked into it because I wanted to know if it would be there when I retire. I have no interest in seeing the program crumble or be dissolved because if that happens every penny I have paid into it will have been for naught. I want it to be there when I retire.

Q: "How did Social Security Fail?"

A1:It hasn't for Rick. He is 77 and has been able to successfully collect it since he became of age, and he will be able to until the day he dies.

A2: It won't for anyone that is 62 or older because it is projected to remain solvent until they die. Yaaay

A3: The younger you are the more questionable the solvency of the program is. As of right now it is projected to remain solvent until 2037. But even that projection is not a guarantee and here is why.

Whether or not Social Security operates in a surplus or a deficit is affected by spurts and dips in the growth of population. It is not as if the money that you have paid into it has been set aside in a separate account and held for you until you retire.

As long as the number of children that each woman has remains constant over time then the program runs smoothly and there are no real issues with social security. Not now and not ever. It operates well and everybody collects their retirement money without any problems.

The problem that we are facing come from the fact that from 1946 to 1965 there was a substantial increase in the number of children born (baby boomers) and that these people have begun to retire starting in 2010.

Even this doesn't seem to begin to be a problem until 2016 which is the point at which it is projected that social security will begin to run in a deficit and won't stop running in a deficit until after 2037 when all of the "baby boomers" have died off.

Now don't get me wrong here I am not projecting doom and gloom here. I have looked into this because I want to know if I will be able to collect it. From everything that I have read our social security system is better than anywhere else in the world and it would be a shame if it ever did fail.

The truth is that it might fail. That is just reality. The reason that it might fail is because even though they say there is a 2.6 trillion dollar surplus built up in Social Security that the money isn't really there. If it was then it would be solvent for long enough that after the age of the baby boomers was officially over then even if the government had to prop it up a little it wouldn't be a big deal. It wouldn't be for long enough to worry about.

The money wasn't set aside though. When the money from Social Security comes in the government basically "purchases" securities. (I am not a banker or an economic expert so my understanding is as a laymen here). Then they just spend it. The 2.6 trillion exists as part of our overall national debt and is just a promissory note with interest.

As the number of baby boomers retire and the program begins to run further and further into deficit then the government will have no choice but to begin "paying us back". As far as I can tell the projected amount is roughly 4.5 to 6 percent of GDP. The question is where will they get the money then?

The simple answer is they will borrow it from other places. Again I am no expert here but my question is what if nobody can or is willing to lend it to us at that point?

Not trying to be a negative nancy here. I think these are legitimate questions and I would love to know the answer to them.

If anyone has a better understanding of it I would love to hear it because this is a legitimate concern of mine as I am sure it is to others of my age and should be to those that are younger.

From what I can tell, the purpose of Obamacare is for it to fail.
Step 1. Make voters' lives literally dependent on Obamacare.
Step 2. Watch the program crumble.
Step 3. Provide the magic solution. Socialised healthcare, which you steamroll in 10-15 years down the line.

I was wrong it was 678 million not 600 million....

Townes-Whitley visited the White House complex on four occasions earlier this year to meet with administration officials in her role as vice president for at CGI Federal, which secured a $678 million no-bid contract to build the Obamacare exchange web portal.

Toni Townes-Whitley, Princeton class*not_secure_link*images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png of ’85, is senior vice president at CGI Federal, which earned the no-bid contract to build the $678 million Obamacare enrollment website at Healthcare.gov.

CGI Federal is the U.S. arm of a Canadian company.

    ------------------------------------

Why, if we are worried about jobs are we hiring a Canada Company?

What the fuck is wrong with this president....

Jesus Christ--IBM-Microsoft--Oracle and we hire a Canadian company....
