The spirits of Applebloom’s two best friends encourage her to let them go.

Another entry in the Applebloom/Sprout saga. I had this idea brewing ever since I did the last image with old Applebloom. At various points over time, both Scoots and Sweetie passed away, leaving Applebloom devastated, bitter, and alone. The only thing she has left of them is their old clubhouse, which the old mare continues to fix up and keep in somewhat good condition despite being far too old for it or having any grandfoals of her own to play in it. The house is a true testament to the CMC and their friendship, and Applebloom refuses to let that go, nearly to the point of obsession. That is, until she has a dream one night during her time training Sprout.

That’s about it, really. I had this idea brewing for a while, and I finally decided to make it happen.
