I have to admit, if I at first thought they were robots, I'd be more confusperplexed than anything else once I noticed that they weren't robots (e.g. they got close enough to see that the eyes are wayyy too realistic and not uncanny-valley), since communication would have been established by that point.

Or I'd run outside and try to find the operators so that I could learn more about the robots :P
