People keep arguing about the flat world even if since Ancient Greece and Rome the notions of a round world existed and only grown overtime.

There’s still arguing if pineapple and pizza should not be together.

Conflict is part of nature plain and simple, not even “human” but nature as a whole, so people would still make arguments about anything.

I know, killed spectators, let himself be possessed by Majin Boo, killed an entire Village of Nameks (elders and kids) that could not be revived, ALL of those events are addressed. Vegeta did IN FACT, redeemed and now he is no longer evil.

Vegeta has also done far worse than Cozy and does it multiple times while being given chance after chance.

He loses and is spared on earth, revived on Namek despite all he’s done, nearly doomed them all because of his arrogance with Cell and then becomes Evil again with Buu.

I don’t like Cozy at all but if anything that argument works in Cozy Glow’s favor.

Man this comment sections is so mental towards Cozy Glow to the point where it’s actually pretty concerning.

Uuh yeah I do actually. I interpret Frenemies as the episode where the villains learn how great friendship can be and even stop to question if they’re really doing the right thing. The final scene alone makes me think they can change. It was only because no one was there to further help convince them to change their ways. Maybe not Chrysalis since she really seems dead set on her ways and was the first to snap out of it.

On a further note we know nothing about Cozy’s past life because no one bothered to even look into it. Well, mostly the trash writing staff is to blame. We can’t say for certain if she is incapable of redemption without at least giving some form of therapy to her or trying to discover why she is the way she is. Which of course they never did because all that important information was just an afterthought and was apparently not necessary to the story even though it totally should have been.

Playing devil’s advocate, an argument can still be made that as a child, Cozy Glow could be manipulated or redeemed once she fully develops.

Characters like Stygian or Princess Luna felt betrayed, wronged, and unloved. Their turn to evil was misguided and having the self-sacrifical unconditional love of Friendship showed a different path and helped mend the wounds. Discord never experienced Friendship, and once he did, he was ready to use his powers “for good”.

I think the better point about Cozy is that she had the best and safest possible environment with which to not only practice Friendship, but excel as a student. She thoroughly understood Friendship, its concepts, how it works, and she still outright rejected its core principles.

Cozy Glow was irredeemable before she was put in Tartarus. Because there is no program or situation that will make her “see the light”, “see the error of her ways”, understand the benefits of Friendship, or the cons of evildoing. She already had all of this in the School of Friendship.
She doesn’t need to be “taught a lesson” per se, she just refused to accept and adapt her behavior. The fact that she decided to continue working with the Legion of Doom suggests that not even the initial punishment of being in pony hell was enough.

Chrysalis and Tirek had over a thousand years to think it over, and despite multiple defeats continued on anyway.

That’s another good point, she did reject multiple chances for redemption. But with my point, this is worse if you think about it because she rejected those chances even knowing the benefits of Harmony from her studies at the School of Friendship.

it’s a pretty clear statement about her there, as clear as a glass block .

Just felt that i had to bring an example about TRULY evil characters that rejected any and all chances of redemption, and others that achieved redemption.

There was certain individual i met once that, trying to defend Cozy Glow, compared her with Vegeta in a debate we had several times. The arguments: Vegueta killed thousands of innocent life forms. Extinguished species, and basically committed Genocide left and right. Though one cannot argue against the evidence, in Dragon Ball Super, in Moro’s saga (in the manga) to be exact, the battle against that monster reached New Nameku, forcing Vegeta to help in the Village he destroyed once, on his persue for Eternal Life. During the fight, he openly admits that “he has a debt with this planet (Nameku) for his past mistakes, and that he is fully aware that, when his time comes and he has to face judgement for his actions commited in life, he is fully prepared to face those consequences without regrets”. Also he learned two techniques while training with the Yadrats: he also learned the Instant Transmission (though only used it once because he feels that’s Kakarot’s signature move and he doesnt want to steal it from him) and the Forced Spirit Fission, a technique that is based in the same principle of the Spirit Bomb, and as such requires a PURE, CALMED SPIRIT to be used. If Vegeta was truly evil, dont you think he wouldn’t be able to use that technique?

Cozy Glow on the other hand, show no remorse and not only she got defeated and sent to Tartarus, when the chance was given for her to escape, she didn’t have to think about it, she took it. And even more to my favor, the ENTIRE Legion of Doom had a chande to taste true friendship while retrieving Grogar’s Bell, and for a moment it almost looked like they were about to turn a leaf, but they WILLINGLY discarded that chance, remaining rotten to their cores, and plotting not only overthrowing Grogar, but seize control over Equestria and DESTROY (basically KILL) Twilight and whoever opposed them.

Now with all that i brough to the table, do you STILL believe that Cozy Glow could be redeemed?
